AC Installation — Book a Visit Today

We install central AC systems, replace worn-out air conditioners and put in ductless mini-splits for homes across Florida and Georgia. Most replacements start the same way: a compressor that has quit, a coil leaking refrigerant, or a system old enough that repair parts are getting hard to find. A visit begins with load math, not a sales pitch. We measure the house, look at duct sizing and return air, check the electrical panel and the condensate path, then talk through equipment that matches the humidity load in your area. Installation day covers the pad or stand, line set, drain, thermostat wiring and a full startup check before we leave. Call us and we will schedule a walkthrough at your house.

The AC installation symptoms we hear most

  • The AC runs all day and the house still feels sticky Undersized or oversized equipment and poor humidity removal
  • We have already paid for two repairs this year Aging system with failing compressor or coil
  • The outdoor unit is loud and the coil looks corroded Salt-air coil damage and end-of-life condenser
  • One room never cools no matter what we do No duct run to that space, a candidate for a ductless mini-split
  • The air handler is rusty and water stains the ceiling below Corroded cabinet, blocked drain pan and coil replacement territory

People call this AC installation, air conditioner installation or AC replacement. Same visit, same written quote, same technician.

Safe things to check first

Worth a look before you call — sometimes it saves you the visit.

  • 1Check the thermostat settings and swap the batteries, then confirm it is calling for cool.
  • 2Look at the breaker panel for a tripped breaker on the air handler or outdoor unit circuit.
  • 3Change the air filter if it is grey and packed, and note the size for us.
  • 4Clear grass clippings, leaves and shrub growth back from the outdoor unit so it can breathe.

AC Installation — quick answers

How do I know if I should repair or replace my air conditioner?

It comes down to age, refrigerant type and how the repairs are stacking up. A ten-year-old system with a leaking coil and a failing compressor is usually replacement territory. A newer unit with one bad part is worth an air conditioning repair.

What size AC does my house need?

We calculate it from your house, not from the old nameplate. Square footage, ceiling height, window area, insulation and duct capacity all feed the number. Oversized equipment short cycles and leaves the air damp, which is the common complaint we hear.

How long does an AC installation take?

A straight changeout of central AC usually takes one day. Add time if the ductwork needs repair, the electrical circuit needs work, the drain has to be rerouted or we are moving the air handler location. We tell you before we start.

Is a ductless mini-split a good option for my home?

Mini-splits work well for additions, garages, converted porches, condos with no duct space and rooms the existing system never reaches. Each indoor head runs on its own, so you cool the space you use without cooling the whole house.

Will you replace my ductwork at the same time?

Sometimes, and we will tell you honestly. New equipment on undersized or leaking ducts will not perform. We inspect returns, trunk sizing and connections during the walkthrough, then quote duct work separately so you can see what you are paying for.

Do you handle the permit and the old equipment?

Yes. We pull the required permit for the work, haul off the old condenser and air handler, and stay for inspection if one is scheduled. You do not need to arrange disposal or coordinate with the county yourself.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell us the symptom

Call or fill out the quote form and describe what changed. Warm air, short cycling, a clicking outdoor unit, water on the floor. Details help us load the right parts before we drive out.

  2. Step 2

    We diagnose on site

A technician checks the thermostat, airflow, electrical side, refrigerant behavior, and the coil. Coils foul fast in coastal air, so we look there early. You get the finding in plain language before work starts.

  3. Step 3

    Repair and verify

We make the repair, then run the system and watch it. Supply temperature, drain flow, amp draw, and how the house actually feels. If the fix needs a follow-up part, we tell you that day.

Why homeowners call us

  • Humidity gets equal weightCold air alone is not comfort. On slab homes and older condos, a system can hit temperature and still leave the rooms clammy. We look at run time, airflow, and drainage so the house dries out instead of just chilling.
  • Coastal wear is expectedSalt air chews condenser fins and contactors. We check for corrosion, weak capacitors, and fouled coils as part of the diagnosis, because in this region those are causes rather than afterthoughts.
  • Heat gets attention tooFurnace repair, heat pump reversing valve trouble, and heat strip failures all come through in the cooler months. Georgia homes lean on heat harder than Florida homes, and we service both ends of the region.
  • No mystery invoicesYou hear what failed, what it takes to fix, and what we found nearby that may fail next. If a repair does not make sense on an old system, we say so instead of stacking parts on it.
  • All major brands, gas & electricCarrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York and more, as an independent company.
  • Straight answersIf a system is not worth repairing, we say so, often right on the phone.
